- Plaza de la Vila, 8 (Alaro). Tel. 971 879 117. Majorcan cooking with a few international dishes. Nice setting, with a covered terrace in the back with garden for the children to play. We recommend you stick to what they do well, tapas, paella and steak.

Othersie known as the "Lamb Restaurant" wonderfully rustic family run farmhouse restaurant, set high above Alaro en-route to the Castell de Alaro. The drive is not for the faint hearted, but the lamb is definitely worth it!  Take your own mint sauce, and do try the Rum Cremat coffee-but not if you are driving down!

The main restaurant in our opinion is over fussy, over presented "art on a plate" style and over complicated - but will no doubt impress many.
